The 300 gram canvas is again our standard here. The roof tent is equipped with just one ladder and has a very spacious awning above the entrance. This makes it possible to zip a subtent to the underside of the roof tent. This subtent is according to the completely new design and has a lot of space and has its own sensible design with regard to windows and doors. In addition to privacy, the subtent also gives the option of always entering the roof tent dry and sheltered. Even without an under-tent, the roof has the advantage that the entrance can remain open without being overlooked or raining in.

At Dare To Be Different we strive for an optimal living climate in our roof tents. The roofline of the roof tent is now curved, providing better drainage and a more modern look. The double roof system, the fly-top, provides an extra layer of insulation on top of the regular roof. This keeps the temperature in the roof tent pleasant on hot days. During cold nights, this extra insulation helps against heat loss. In addition, the double roof system protects the tent during rain showers. Are you really going to brave the cold? As an option we supply a cotton canopy for an extra layer of insulation in your roof tent. This canopy can remain in the roof tent if you fold it.

Ventilation is an important part of a pleasant living environment. The 180L roof tent can be optimally ventilated by two ventilation openings, two lockable windows on the sides and two large windows opposite the entrances. In addition, the Rooftent 180L also has 2 skylights in the sleeping area and 1 skylight in the entrance. The side windows and the entrances can also remain open during a rain shower due to the cleverly placed awnings. To keep insects out, the ventilation openings, windows and the door are fitted with mosquito netting.

An important part of a good night's sleep is a comfortable mattress. The roof tent once again has a six centimeter thick mattress. The mattress length of 230cm makes this roof tent ideal for taller people. The mattress has a removable and washable cover of 100% cotton. Furthermore, the roof tent is equipped with various handy storage compartments to store a telephone, glasses or flashlight at night.

The 180L is the deLUX version because of its extensive windows and roof windows, it is a very unique roof tent. The weight of the roof tent is only 68 kg. Due to this weight in combination with the spacious dimensions, this tent is especially suitable for station wagons, vans and all-terrain vehicles, but of course it also fits on a trailer or motorhome.
